Two steps forward, giant leap back

Sena is now done with Elmo.  And Kipper.  No more Kipper the dog.  Her new love is Curious George.

Here's our current daily conversation.

Sena wakes up and yawns: "I want to watch Cwurryus George!"

Me: How about some breakfast?  Do you want a waffle or cereal?

Sena: NO! CWURRYUS GEORGE!

Because I have better things to do than argue with a toddler, I let her watch it.  And watch it.  And watch it.

(To be fair, I have learned things about worms, groundhogs, kites, orbit, hot-air balloons, and that the man in the yellow hat may be a scientist, but he is also a total idiot.)

The side effect of watching all this Curious George has manifested itself in one particularly annoying trait.

Sena doesn't talk.

She grunts.

She hoots.

She screams with a freakish simian similarity.

She thinks she's a monkey.

She points and says things like "Nyyyaaaaaaaagaaaaahhhhh!"

Basically she sounds just like Curious George.

But it's still better than Barney.

I hate Barney.

Waffles are good! Especially buttermilk.
