14

Last week my husband and I celebrated survived 14 years of marriage.

14 years of marriage.  FOOOORRRRRTEEEEEEEN years. Of marriage.

I guess maybe I should have learned something by now.  Probably. But it starts to get fuzzy.  I have a sneaking suspicion I have learned something.

Then I forget it.

Which is probably a good thing.  Forgetting.  At least for marriage.

Here are other things that are probably good for marriage.

1.  Good sense of humor
2.  Good sense of humor
3.  See numbers 1 & 2

The problem is most people THINK they have a good sense of humor.

Like the way most people think they're good drivers.

It's everyone else that sucks.

Another helpful thing is don't marry a chronic liar/cheater/drunk/crackhead/and/or raging asshole.

Simple enough, right?

The rest you can pretty much deal with.

Unless they don't have a good sense of humor.

So I dedicate this song to Matt.  It pretty much sums up our relationship, which on some days I'm still trying to figure out.

I might need a few more years.  Or the rest of my life.

It could be a lot worse.
