Okay, Go!


Well, here's a photo from the big jump. You can clearly see on my face what is going through my mind, which is,

"Holy Shit! I think I can see my house from here!"

I could also see the curvature of the earth. That's a pretty impressive sight. The only other time I've been at 13,000+ feet (besides jet airliners) was when I climbed Long's Peak in Colorado. That's a 14,255 ft. mountain. It took almost 8 hours to reach the summit, and then a brutal 6 hours to descend. This time it only took 6 minutes to get back down to sea level. 21,600 seconds compared to 360 seconds. Or 60 times faster.

Yeah, I can do math.
