As a big fan of kung-fu films I've always wondered how they decide which extras to use in a movie. You know the guy who is FIGHTER NO.7 and has to get his butt kicked by Jet Li?
I always assumed that people who tried out for these parts had some kind of martial arts training. You know, that would be helpful and add to the movie's authenticity.
Some of these guys didn't get that memo.
