I recently bought a journal that I plan to write in everyday after the baby is born. Yeah, I know, good intentions. The journal will be addressed to my daughter, and what made me think of it was when I was going through my own baby books. My older brother's was the most complete, my book somewhat less, and poor Kelly's book was just about blank. But that's the way it goes when you have three young kids all running around at the same time.

I remembered sitting there holding the book and staring at the words and just feeling like I wanted to KNOW more. The things I did. What I liked to eat. How I liked to watch my mother vacuum while I sat in my play pen. Little things like that. So I bought a nice journal and I plan to TRY to write something every day, even if it's just a little blurb.

Then I saw this.

What a fantastic idea.

I like the journal idea, too! It'll provide much more info that I'm sure your little girl will love to know.
